I think french macarons are chic.  I love the color, texture and appearance.  These mini desserts are perfect for a dessert bar.  Here is a dessert bar that I designed for a bridal shower. 

Paninis at home

Paninis are easy to make! Which means that you can have a delicious panini at an instant.

Here is what how I made my panini at home:

You will need a loaf of bread (and you can use any type of bread like french, focaccia, or ciabatta,) chicken or turkey ham, cheese ( I really like mozarella because it melts nicely), a pesto spread ( I bought mine instead of making it), tomatoes, and red onions.   

If you have a panini maker like I do, great.  If not you can heat up a griddle and toast it there. Bon a petit! Enjoy!
